Connect Group Consulting invests in Trainee Academy
Connect Group Consulting has established a Trainee Academy enabling us to "grow our own future leaders".
The Trainee Programme is an ongoing investment that will see the number of employees grow significantly over the next few years. The Academy ensures that our employees have a structured approach to their development and that they are trained in every aspect of the job that is relevant to them at various points throughout their career.
To gain a place on the Trainee Academy candidates undergo intensive interviewing and attend Assessment Centres where they are required to undertake various exercises and tests.

New Senior Appointment for Energy, Rail and Construction
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Bray as Director of Energy, Rail and Construction.
Matt joins Connect Group Consulting with over 15 years proven experience within the construction and major infrastructure sectors.
We feel that Matt will be a great addition to Connect Group and that the Energy, Rail and Construction divisions will continue to strengthen under Matt’s expertise and enthusiasm for providing recruitment solutions.
Connect Group Consulting has successfully completed the tender process and has been awarded the National Framework Agreement to supply the NHS and public bodies.
The National Framework Agreement is for the Supply of non-medical, non-clinical temporary and fixed term staff to NHS and public bodies in England and Wales.
The Framework Agreement commences in the 1st January 2010 for an initial 2 year period with options to extend for two 12 month periods.
Connect Group Consulting will be providing services of an Employment Agency and Employment Business in to the following specialist job segments: -
- IM &T, Information and Communication Technology, Health Informatics (Bands 1-10)
- Project Management (Bands 1-10)

Connect Group Consulting Acquires Cooper Burns
Connect Group Consulting specialists within the IT and Energy sectors and would like to announce the acquisition of Cooper Burns.
Formed in 2006, Cooper Burns is a niche and dynamic, fast growing business that specialises in the provision of Senior IT Architecture and Project Management personnel.
Following this acquisition, Cooper Burns will continue to trade independently.

Quality Standards assured as Connect obtain ISO 9001 accreditation
Connect’s commitment to continuous service improvement was recognised today by the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO), when the Group was awarded ISO 9001 accreditation.
ISO 9001 is the standard that governs good management practice and when adopted ensures all employees work according to strict procedures. In such, clients and candidates can be assured of an exceptional level of service every time.

Carbon Neutral
At Connect Group we are aware of the detrimental affect businesses have on the environment. Working with CarbonNeutral.com has opened our eyes to the way we can not only reduce our carbon omissions but how to offset these to help disadvantaged countries around the world.
After researching all areas of the company from business travel for Client and Candidate meetings to the resources used to run our business, we made the appropriate changes in order to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. By going through this intensive process we were able to achieve Carbon Neutral certification in April 2009 and are proud to say that the credits purchased through Carbon Neutral have aided projects in India through SELCO (The Solar Electric Light Company)
This is just the beginning for Connect Group as a Carbon Neutral company. We are committed to reducing our Carbon Footprint even further and are looking forward to making even more of a difference over the coming year by the ongoing monitoring of our business and by continually educating our employees to work in accordance with this.
